Fox News: Work Begins on Second Dallas Deck Park Over I-35

Workers break ground Wednesday on a big construction project to widen a busy interstate. The Southern Gateway Project also bring a second deck park to Dallas.

In a few years, the area just south of Interstate 35 near the Dallas Zoo will look very different with a deck park like Klyde Warren Park right over the interstate.

But the deck park is just one part of the Texas Department of Transportation's $666 million, 11-mile expansion project designed to provide congestion relief. Reversible non-tolled express lanes will be added to I-35 for all drivers to use.
